because coffee
I’m not going to lie. I don’t understand people who don’t enjoy coffee.
Not saying you have to be slightly OTT like me – after all, I am from a country where we invented an entirely unique word just to decisive the act of having coffee with friends (“fika” – yes, it’s real). So three to four cups a day might be a little excessive.
But the joy of waking up to a fresh brew, or using it for something completely different – is too good to pass by.
Here are 5 reasons why you need to get more #coffee into your life:
It makes you more productive.
If you use it right, coffee will help you get shiet done. Having too much of it though, will do exactly the opposite. So don’t go crazy. I used to have between 4-6 cups of coffee a day, which is too much for anyone. Listen to your body – I usually wake up ready for a cup in 15 minutes, but if I’m feeling crook I don’t feel like coffee at all (I just feel like curling up into a ball and disappearing). Your body knows you best. Listen to it.
PS – If you like working on the floor like me, you might also enjoy this guy.
It will take you places.
I learned from someone who knew that coffee is an art. You would know that from the hot barista across the road swirling your heart shaped lattes in the morning – but truly, good coffee is sometimes hard to find. And better yet, there is no right or wrong. A bit like wine, really, coffee palettes differently with different people, and trust me when I say that you will know when you’ve found your favourite blend and place. I found a very happy place at Coogee Pavillion the other week. The view might have had something to do with it, but not much.
It’s not just for drinking.
Meet my fired frank. He tends to come out whenever the man is not around. He loves getting freakin’ dirty and makes my skin feel absolutely amazing. Now, I know that there has been a lot, and I mean a lot – of hype around this product on the www. But I can safely day that this is one of the best skin rejuvenators I have ever stumbled upon. I will not go a week without frank. I just won’t.
Coffee will help you look, feel and perform your best.
I’ve formed quite a morning habit with Coffee Not Coffee, especially their Raspberry Coffee which contains raspberry ketones. It totally gets me going in the morning and also tastes amazing. As quite a coffee dependant individual, I believe it’s important to keep things interesting in the relationship. This is how.
If you haven’t already caught on to the THR1VE Mountain Coffee, this take of the Bulletproof Coffee (yes, that’s that ‘crazy’ blend of a long black and grass fed butter), don’t get on this train unless you’re prepared to introduce a slight addiction. If you’re working on your ultimate summer body, this little guy will become your best friend the day after a workout.
It’s the best thing, shared, on weekends.
It’s colourful, it’s pretty, and it creates conversation, laughter and memories when enjoyed together. If you’ve just brushed past my last four points, please take this from a Swede who grew up with this. Enjoy.
