love bridges

My Mum has always been great at spotting new brands in everything from fashion to food, and jumping on the band wagon pretty early. Sometimes I do the daughter thing, roll my eyes slightly and go “Sure, Mum – it’s cool.” – where most of these times I end up regretting my attitude. Be it months or years later.

My introduction to Thomas Sabo was through a scenario just like this, when she came home with a silver link bracelet with one charm delicately hanging off it.

It was the coolest thing I’d ever seen – and I love the fact that you could customise it to tell your own story (or just make it look freakin’ awesome), and your friends will love you for it because birthday presents instantly become so easy. To paint a picture, I now don’t own a jewellery trinket simply because I have collected so many black and white stripy Thomas Sabo boxes (they are are cutest), collectively big enough to store all my jewellery.

To put it lightly – I’m a fan.

Last week I was lucky enough to be able to celebrate their latest collection launch with the Thomas Sabo Team here in Sydney, and there were many reasons to celebrate. The personalisation piece is something that Thomas Sabo have always done really well, and they’ve done it again with the new Love Bridges collection which features bracelets and bangles which can be engraved with a personal message, name or date – and designed to be stacked, which means that you can collect and engrave with celebration of a memory, a time or a date that you want to remember. I took the chance to write a little note to myself which I particularly need at this point in time, but I’m sure I will remember this time forever regardless.

The collection will be available in  stores within a few weeks so you can get your hands on those ear jackets that I was lucky enough to wear for a couple of hours. On the ‘need’ list.

  2. Hi Faouzia,

Thomas Sabo have not paid me for this post – and the story is entirely true. I sill have my first charm bracelets from over 8 years ago and wear them all the time, and love them dearly. Hope this helps 😉
