the universe
They say the Universe sends us exactly what we are ready for at the exact time we need it in our lives.
Everything happens for a reason – yes, that old chestnut.
I’ve always been quite good at not questioning why, what or who, usually in sheer fright of what conclusions I might come to or what feelings might awaken. Sometimes though, I’m not so good at just closing my eyes and letting go. Instead I will put it away in that drawer (that one that we all have), pretending that it’s somehow magically going to sort itself out – that not sleeping at night and constantly finding yourself stressed and uninspired is now all of a sudden the norm.
Stop, just for a minute.
Close your eyes and take a deep breath. Those of you who know me well also know that the last few months of my life has come with massive change, excitement, stress and anticipation, and I think I managed to lose myself a little along the way. But it’s kind of like riding a bike – if you know what to do, it comes back to you naturally. And it feels right. So incredibly right.
No excuses, no maybes, no tomorrows. Be honest about what you want, what you feel, what you need and about who you are. And if it ever gets a little scary, just close your eyes, breathe in deeply, and just let it happen. It is what it is.
And it’s kind of wonderful.
